Default PLM Header Fitment

I am looking for info regarding the H22 PLM header in the EK chassis. There are two versions, the tri-y and 4-1 drag. I'm wondering which one fits the best (I don't want to do a lot of fabbing for a custom test pipe). Any one have experience with either header in the 96-00 civic?

I know this should be in the hybrid forum. But I want answers, and not many people frequent that forum. I already posted in a sticky there anyway.

From what I've seen the 4-1 fits snugger to the oil pan as must 4-1 headers usually do

That is one thing I'm hoping for. Also, just by looking at PLM's pics, the pipe after the collector appears to shift "up" and then go straight again on the 4-1, which is consistent with what needs to happen if the header is to line up to the exhaust in this chassis. But I'd like some first hand confirmation, if anyone has experience with it

The H22 leans back. The 4-2-1 design has primaries that point down towards the back of the car so the part by the radiator is mostly vertical. The 4-1 header stays with the slant of the block so it needs that kink in order to send the exhaust back into the tunnel rather than into the pavement.

Ah good eye, thanks for clarification.

If anyone else has experience with the fitment of either one post up
