I also couldnt find, But from what I've heard the lobes are a blueish color.

they have a blue tint to the metal and you could always measure the lobes

Get some micrometers, meaure the VTEC lobes. That's the least expensive bonafide way to determine if you've been ripped off.

I would not trus the freaking tint of a camshaft to see if it's a Type-S or not.
