Gsr cam gears and crank pulley compatible with b16 water pump with timing belt?
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my gsr block I'm buying new unused b16 gates timing belt and water pump for cheap are they compatible with a gsr head and block? I heard that matching b16 water pump with timing belt with go on a gsr with no issues... Is this correct? Or am I about to get fooled like the retard I am.

No, unfortunately it will not work. The GSR and B16 water pump are the same. Both have the same number of teeth and both carry the same part number (19200-P72-013). Since the B16 block is shorter than the GSR, the timing belt is shorter. Also the crank pulley and cam gears for the GSR and B16 are the same too. You'll need the GSR/B16 water pump and a GSR timing belt to use with a GSR block and head.
