Just get the oem one, I have used them from stock motors to 600+ hp and never once had any issues.

If im not mistaken, its the same belt. OEM just has Honda written on it with a huge markup.

I haven't used the Gates timing belts for Hondas but ALL of our race motors (offshore race boats) use Gates belts.

X2 agreed.

In fact, I recommend honda oem for gaskets, water and oil pump, and seals. You just can't go wrong with them.

Yeah, def a big difference in your typical autozone stuff vs. oem.

Gates is one of several manufacturers of oem honda belts. Most sohc belts from what I have seen.

yeah, i used to work at autozone and their goodyear timing belts are crap. I seen http://www.rockauto.com selling gates timing belts and has (oem) after the listing. But like i said, $103 shipped for oem timing belt and tensioner from http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com looks like my best option. thanks guys

stock or racing series? I use gaterback (gates) drive belts and they seem to be good quality, been about 2 years now and 30k miles, still no cracks.
