No, a 3" exhaust will not "hurt" anything. A good tune and you will be ahead of most.

BTW, I run 3" exhaust.

Here's a link to the latest dyno. https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/blox-c-versus-blox-2645256/

X2... Wouldnt "hurt" anything, But I think It would be kind of loud If you was concern on sound.

P.s. Mar I just saw your thread and Much props to you. Also did those "Blox C's" wer slap in cam or had to degreed them aswell?

Yeah, you are right about the sound being a bit loud but if you are looking for the power then that is the way to go.

Thanks. The C's have the same centerlines as stock cams.

Same centerline? Does that mean they could run with a stock ecu below ~3k? Pass emissions OBD2?

Centerlines yes, primaries and secondaries lift and duration, no.

All it means is that you can install them at 0-0 and they'd be oriented like a stock cam, no real need to degree them. After that you can play with them on the dyno to see what makes best power.

Have you had your current set-up tuned? 10:1 with GSR cams you'll be hard pressed to break 170whp.
Do you currently have an after market exhaust on it?

True statement, "Gotta do what you gotta do to make power"... You think you could of made the same or more power with "JUN3'S"? Same centerlines right?

The power would have been exactly the same since the Jun 3's and the Blox C's are the exact same cam.

3" exhaust wont hurt you in any way. Everything past the collector is nothing but a restriction. It will be loud though, i have a b20 with a 3" exhaust and everybody says it sounds great but its loud enough to set off car alarms.

wtf really?

bloxc used 200 or less or 400 shipped new

jun3 used 350-400$ or new is like 600+

if you want a cheap 3"
you can go to ebay get the 3" exhaust for $140 shipped
if you want to spend a little more cut the muffler off and put the one you want on it for $100 or so more
