Default f20b manual and f20b auto???

f20b manual 200hp
f20b auto 187hp

what is the diff, cams? read some info saying the manual comes with h22 type s cams,

what is really the diff, i dont think by swapping a gearbox to a auto swap will give the engine 20plus hp,

i have f20b auto and want the 200 out of it, at stock to be on par with the b18c,

how to get this done with stock the auto f20b?

You answered your own question

Type S cams and a higher redline = 13 more hp at the flywheel

A simple I/H/E upgrade with a Type S cam/valvespring/retainer upgrade would be a natural selection....for the money you might as well grab some Pro 1s or even Pro 2 with a good header and a nice 3" intake combo...tune that should be 210-215whp or so maybe even just a tad more if you get lucky.

The F20B is a better starting platform...the manual would have been my choice but even still...better head, larger displacement options...

Is this an H2B swap?

Yeah...the TB is alike 2mm larger or so...you can research that..youll probably end up replacing that anyway...

Pro 2s are skunk and you might as well skip the Type S cams if your looking for Pro 2's anyway...save yourself the hassle...dont forget to freshen up the top end while your in there....LMAs and such...the H series heads have accelerated wear compared to B series so its always a good idea to freshen up the motor and maybe even have your new LMAs coated for longevity.

Great motor...check out RLZ for a valve job too...good stuff

Standard for most Pro 2 upgrades or any real cam upgrade for that matter

Fuel (I would upgrade to a 190lph pump at least), tuning (EMS software of somesort eCtune, Hondata etc..), dyno time (lock in correct maps/ignition/fuel)

Springs and retainers are obvious, a good header/exhaust combo, at least a 3" intake pipe and good filter...just basics really...H2b is a little different with headers and such but with the B series trans and basic mods you will see they make more than your standard H trans Prelude with the same mods.

http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewt...hp?f=31&t=4843

This is an old F20B setup...small cam, prelude trans...with Pro 1's or 2's and a B series trans your numbers should look better than that...obviously more torque too...he used Neptune but same difference...just get it tuned with your new parts.

Cheap and easy to find....as long as they arent too small tuning with larger 550's isnt hard with an EMS...just room to grow on the fuel side...most preludes come with 270s or 310s on the newers ones...upgrading to 550's just leaves the injectors some room on the duty cycle side once you start making more power...cheaper to buy one set of injectors vs 2 or 3 sets along the way....key is tuning

i have crome avail locally here, will probally use that, i have a greedy ultimate somewhere around to,

so here is what i concluded
Shave tb for now
skunk2 pro cams not sure as to 1 or 2 which ever one i can afford at that point will decide
Adjust cams
550 or 480cc injectors
Nice custom headers, 2.5 headers, in my case no cat and resinator, jasma barrel at end
3'' CAI
Lighten flywheel
Manual t/belt tensioner
Act Street and strip clutch set up

cams and valve etc and cam gears are the same as h22 right, jus confirming also injectors?

H22 head basically...yeah

Youll need an H2B header...NOT a prelude header....Pro 1's and 2's are similar in price just different in terms of lift etc...Pro 1's are a good street cam but I like having a little more room to grow cam wise...your call

Most guys going H2B do it as well as the D series alt relocate etc...

Call QSD and they should have most of the parts you need and can answer alot of H2B questions.
