Default Which valvetrain combo would you recommend????

Just like the post says. Imma start doing up my motor and can't decide which valvetrain components or cams to go with. Anyone here can recommend what would be a better choice as far as performance and reliability go?

Any advice, please chime in....thanx!

omg funny stuff.

But i would say go with skunk stage 1's or pro 1's you should be good on your stock valve train but for safety i would upgrade if you plan on revving past the stock 8200 rpms.

with his power goals i dont think he would hit it with just stage 1's, we need to know what other mods. he has

Stage 1's maybe...but still not recommended. Pro 1's absolutely not, not on a stock valvetrain

Before I vote for ANY cam, I would ask you what else you have instead of only asking what motor you have. Are you tuning with anything? Do you have a good header and IM? What are you going to be using this motor for?

I haven't bought the parts yet, I'm doin the research before I go spending the money. I plan on using a Buddy Club Pro Spec exhaust system, DC Sports 4-1 header or maybe the 5 Zigen header, Mugen head gasket, Blox IM for GSR head, and OEM intake with Spoon drop-in filter.

To tune I plan on using Hondata combined with 440cc injectors and Walbro 255lhp fuel pump.

I plan to start ordering the parts whithin the next 2 weeks so i wanna get as much info as I can before spending the money.

I would ditch the Mugen HG and use that money plus the cash for a DC or 5Zigen header and buy a coated SMSP header. Trust me, you won't regret it..you'll make waaay more power. And the injectors are gonna be a bit overkill. 310's would be plently.
