Ohh... Never thought of that. Do you worry about the tensioner bearing shifting when the engine is running? It only has one bolt holding it...

he should worry because it just might rotate and slip the belt off. That could easily send metal parts through his air vent and kill the back seat riders.

If you guys notice in this picture only the inner side is tapered. The other side isn't so it almost fits the bolts so where in the hell are you going to get a loose pump twisting? The pump is made to free spin so it will not matter one bit if it locks up your motor is dead aluminum regardless because there had to be major failure somewhere else. I hope you guys have learned some from one of the worse asked questions on HT. Some people shouldn't do maintenance on cars they should take there car to the dealership and pay out the ***.

I just went and checked my pump and block out, The newer pumps are made to be used without the dowel pins, I had a pin laying around and it will not fit into the new pump, there is not enough play without the pins to cause anything to hit. So if your pump has no pins do not worry.

Natural your my Hero these people swear they are smarter than the man who designed and built Honda themselves. If they send it without obviously they saw some they could save a few dollars in and went with it.
