Alright so recently noise started coming from my dizzy and not to long after that it started bucking and jerking back and forth..it feels like everytime I get my gas pedal any further than 1/2 down it begins to do this.. but it doesn't do it when you have your pedal down as much. felt like I didn't have enoguh gas... I replaced it noises stopped.... drives a a LITTLE better... still same problem.. I'm thinking its my TPS... it's at like.. .4 when closed and 4.3 when opened.. after my car is warmed up it happens then my idle begins to drop 800ish... After driving for maybe not even 10 minutes there's a pinging sound like every second or two. For maybe several minutes.. could my timing be off?

Adjust the TPS closed voltage closer to 0.5V.

There's a diagram in the FAQs sticky for adjusting the ignition timing.

guys finally got it to a mechanic... gave codes for knock sensor and vtec solenoid. sounds weird but i honestly can't imagine it being my vtec solenoid.

i had an issue with my knock sensor too, it controls ignition timing, they are straight forward to replace but dont buy one from honda, they quoted me £184! i got one on ebay for £20! did the job fine.
