Default Crower stg1 cams in a b20 vtec with p72 head -upgraded springs required?

Hi I have a b20vtec all stock besides sk2 1st gen intake mani. And itr header and was woundering if any one has ran the crowder stg 1 cams. There suppose to be like type r but alil stronger. I'm trying to build ok power in my daily and not looking to change springs yet. Any sugestions

Type R cams require ITR springs...

you need to change springs and I would check P2V also.

Check to see if the lift and duration is smaller/less than S2 tuner 2s, if so your p2v clearance is likely fine. Ran b20vtec with s2t2 without issue.

Not all cams are the same specs or close to OEM all the time when advertised online, The rule of thumb is to stick with the matching valve train unless you measure the lift and duration and compare to the oem cam profile and gpo from there. Changing the valve train is not that hard with the head on the block, I replaced my valve springs and retainers when I upgraded my cams to Pro 1 easily with the correct tool. Keep your redline at stock and you should be fine.
