then you already know in the end my opinion is just that though, if someone is happy with building a D then they should do it, this world is all about making yourself happy what ever it takes...

so which one are you a woman or a child? just kidding

based on my experience the following B motors in properly built street form with a liberal budget can make the following whp reliably for their displacement/size on pump gas. with a maximum compression of 11.5:1

b16 200-205+ whp
b17 210-215+ whp
b18 215-225+ whp
b20 235-245+ whp

The majority of people will never spend the time and money to achieve those levels, because beyond time and money it takes the know how, which few have anymore.

cheap headers and intake
stock piping but extended no muffler

156whp / 113 wtq on a DynoJet
SiR II B16 stock long block
BPi intake,
Dented 4 into 1 header
3" exhaust with stock 2.25 muffler.
JDM B16 ecu
This is an on going build so the header and exhaust will be changed in the near future.

hey man, i have been reading up on a few of the posts where you have quoted prices on some of the stuff on your race cars. i find most of it hard to believe, and i cant seem to see why youre trying to convince people youre running low-mid 9s on a 3,000 dollar motor. i know you do your stuff in-house, and i know you cant put a dollar amount on R&D and all but still...
