2 years ago i had a sir2 b16 with s2s2's, dc 4-1 jdm header (ran open), jg 65mm tb, aem cai, and ran it on an s200 with type r base map. It put down 177whp and 119wtq uncorrected.

This is such a general question, but here we go.
In 2001 I had a b16a2, S2S3's gears and valve train, Cai, Fpr, Comptech Header, S2 IM, S2 Ecu.
Dyno'd at 159hp 119ft lbs.
I believe there is a thread with all motor b16's.

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
Enough. Why do d series guys hate b16's so much.
When I did my first b16 swap there wasn't much info out there for d series builds and at that time b16a changeovers were only $900. So naturally that was the cheapest, easiest way to gain 50hp and a great trans. That original b16 lasted me 8 years without even a hiccup. I sold that to a friend 2 yrs ago who still runs it today and he is HARD on everything he drives. Still no problems whatsoever. All this while still getting 30mpg consistently.
It may not be a power house but after all this time I have much respect for the little b16. I don't care that your D series was cheaper or that you beat them @ the drag strip. There are lots of them available and are very affordable so naturally people will build them. You don't need to criticize everyone who does.
/Rant.

Please quit cluttering this thread with senseless bullshit. No one in this thread is criticizing you for building a single cam. You are entitled to your opinion but remember this is a technical forum and you are in no way contributing to this thread.

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
i was referring to D series due to there being so limited on increasing displacement, though i think for the average user building an NA F series (accord f series) is also not such a good idea... bisi has pretty much custom everything, you would poop yourself if you learned how much his crank alone cost
