Can a 96 gsr tb work on the old school sk2 intake manifold

Hi I was woundering if I can use a tb off a 96 gst snail intake manifold and put it onto a old school type r style sk2 manifold or do I have to get a b16 or ls or aftermarket tb.

is this what you mean? If so? Then yes it can fit on a 1st gen skunk2 intake manifold

The only issue I might see with the GSR TB is the throttle body plate that holds the cable.

Yep. He'd need a B16 or Type R bracket assembly.

Nope. The throttle wheel on the GSR T/B pulls in the opposite direction as a B16A, LS or ITR style throttle wheel does, therefore, you would also need the GSR throttle cable and the cable bracket that mounts to the T/B itself. For a complete OE install, you would also need the firewall mounted cable stay bracket.
