BROKEN CAM CAP

I am looking for a solution for a broken cam cap( I think that is what it is referred to) It is the Firewall side on the drivers side on a b18c. It is the one with the post for the valve cover. Apparently the engine was in a rollover that destroyed the valve cover and that cam cap but all else is fine. The cam cap is not repairable by any means.
Q1. Are the cam caps fitted for the heads that they were produced with specifically or are they interchangeable ? will it need to be line honed or something ?
Q2. Where would somebody get a replacement one ? As far as I know they only come with the head and honda doesn't make just those as replacements correct ?

those are cam cap holders... if the op is referring to the pieces underneath, those are matched. you are suppose to get them align honed. i think thats the word or line hone.

i was just hoping for the best for the OP that those were the ones he broke and not the ones underneath https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

by the time you break a cam cap you might as well through the damn thing away. because there's gotta be massive impact on the head alone for the caps to brea. but only IMO.
