Default Leak from small coolant spout SK2 Mani

Hey guys, I am having a bit of a weird issue. The small secondary coolant spout on the back of the Skunk2 GSR Intake Manifold is leaking. I first tried to plug it up when i first installed this with a vacuum cap and a small hose clamp and it seemed to work fine. Recently it started to leak so i replaced the vacuum cap but it still leaks. I wanted to know if I could run a brass "T" fitting to the coolant lines that flow through the Throttle Body? Would that work? If anyone has any other suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks

That is actually the best way to install that manifold. Run a short hose to a T fitting in the line that feeds the Fast Idle Thermo Valve on the bottom of the throttle body. That way coolant is flowing rather than building pressure behind a plug. This should remedy your leaking issue. If you have any more questions about any Skunk2 products give us a call at 951.808.9888.

Okay but aren't the FITV's only on OBD1 vehicles. Mine is a 99 GSR so its OBD2. I was thinking to run a T fitting and a short hose to the "IN" coolant line that circulates through the throttle body? Would that work?

okay I ran that small hose and used the T fitting into the existing throttle body hoses and i thought that would fix the issue but its still no good. I'm not spewing coolant but there is a small leak after a bit of driving. Anybody have any suggestions to fix this. I don't really know where to go form here. Thanks!
