b20z2 milled gsr head ptv questions
hello honda tech.
Building my first b20vtec.
B20z2
tore down. one crank journal and bearing looked pissed.
had crank turned .01"
Went with king bearings (am series)
13020-phk-000 oem pistons/rings +.010" oversize.
block bored .010" over
Stock rods
Arp rod bolts
Head
P72 GSR Head with supertech dual valve springs
Stock GSR cams
(freshly resurfaced "ready to run")
Head gasket cometic .030" thick
Dropped the head off when I dropped the block off.
Had it cleaned, pressure checked, valve job.
They called to let me know that it had .008" of flatness.
one side was at .014".
They said they would square it up taking off the least amount of material possible. They estimated .016".
With the b20z2 .01" over and the head milled .016" and .030" head gasket, do I need to be affraid of ptv issues on stock cams? how much can the head be milled before issues .030"?
thanks for the help
