Default b20, thinner head gasket safe

Is it safe to use a thinner head gasket on a b20?
I'm just curious about clearence

I want to get a slightly thinner gasket to up compression, to couteract the loss of compression from the p8r head?

thanks

Its only going to raise compression .2-.4 compression points. It wouldn't hurt IMO.

I know its minor, but I just don't want to lose any compression
