Default Assitance Needed: B20VTEC Engine Knock + CEL Issues

Hey I got an acura Da with an all motor b20b need help with a check engine light that came on after one of my techs installed a battery. Vehicle now is in limp mode . When I drive the vehicle won't let me pass 3k Rpms . I've tried replacing multiple things. Map sensor . Tps sensor . My ECU is chipped and tunned doesn't look like anything got damage in there . Can't think of what else to check.

What code is it throwing?
Do you have an extra stock ecu you can try? Id do that to determine if its the ecu or something else. If it fixes the problem, the issue is in the ecu. You may not be able to see damage just by looking. Because it could be the chip. The power surge from putting in the new battery, generally would blow the fuse, but if it didn't and the ecu powered on when the battery was put in, I can see that damaging the chip. Easy fix, have whoever burned the chip burn a new one.

I had a similar issue and it ended up being a bad jumper harness.

Default B20b noises

I have a b20b all motor . Stage 2 crower cams. Titanium retainers . And all the APR fun . Now I'm having the issue where after a couple of months of daily use I have to re adjust everything because it starts to sound like the engine is knocking . 🤦🏽*♂️

Id check with crower on valve lash. usually cam manufacturers have certain specs they recommend and sometimes are slightly different than factory. otherwise, stock specs are just fine.

Send me a PM with your email. I tuned a car with almost the exact same setup you listed a couple weeks ago on the side for a friend and I'd be happy to send you the BIN. As for mechanical settings, do you have adjustable cam gears? To start I would set your timing to stock 16* as confirmed by a timing light. If you do have adjustable gears I would run
In @ 0, Ex @ +2 with those cams for starters and suggest a degree when possible.

BTW the car was a 91 coupe, B20B-
ported LS manifold, Crower Stage 2 NA, Supertech springs/retainers, Injen intake, PLM Header, 2.5" test pipe/Yonaka 2.5" exhaust. GSR non LSD tranny w/ Exedy clutch and Fidanza flywheel. Tuned on chipped P75 with Crome Pro. Made 167whp and 154wtq on a somewhat conservative tune.
