Anyone have experience with JDM ***D15*** style dual carbs?
****UPDATE: CARBS ARE OFF A 1995 D15****
Hi
I've got a set of dual carbs for a D15 that we installed in a customers civic at the garage I work at.
I'm in the process of getting an intake aluminum welded to use the carbs on a 3E toyota engine (the stock carb is total garbage) to facilitate a little boost action.
Thing is theres a whole lotta vacume hoses and wires and what not attached to it and I dont know where they are supposed to go. Does anyone have a diagram of the hoses and wiring on the carbs and intake?
Thanks
Dustin

I'l have to look at them tomorow. They are whatever comes stock on the JDM mid 90's SOHC civic. But I will get the make off them tomorow.
I also need to know if the floats in them are crushproof to take some boost.

It seems you have your details mixed up. Report back when you have correct information.

Yeah, it seems I was a little mixed up for sure. Toyotas are a little more my thing.
I know it was for a 1995 Civic SOHC, I thought B16 was the engine designation, but I guess not since it is non VTEC.
spooncivic1, you were right ***D15B7 Honda Civic DX/LX 1992-1995*** SO there it is my mistake, they are off a D15, guess thats why no one could help me with the vacume diagram .
At any rate I discovered today that all the vacume hoses on the carbs and manifold are numbered, so if I am able to get a diagram or even a list, then it should be pretty straight forward to figure out where to connect them.
Thanks
Dustin

You might be diggin yourself into a hole using such a sub-par carburetor for a performance endeavour. Have you ever considered getting a set of used DCOE and preparing them for boost?
No I am not just throwin my uneducated 2 cents in like most people do on h-t in regards to carbs. I run dual Mikuni sidedrafts myself. Stock carbs are usually garbage. get somethin performance oriented.

JaeOne3345 - Are these carbs that bad? They look a little odd for sure, it dosent look like they would even work independantly. And all those mystery hoses!
I'm sure that they are better than the stock Toyota 3E carb (now that thing is ***) but if the honda carbs are total junk than I will just use the intake manifold and look for some new carbs.
That being said, where would I be able to get these DCOE carbs?
Do you have the diagrams for the stock carbs?
