Last run i decided i would do the whole 1/4 using just 3 gears since my gsr gears are so long and was shifting into 4th the previous 2 runs about 100 feet from the finish line. so i reset the rev limiter to 9400rpms..(ET dropped and MPH was gained)

Run 3

R/T .379
60'... 1.801
330... 5.518
1/8... 8.566 @ 80.73mph
1000... 11.175
1/4... 13.378 @ 102.96mph

The launches are getting better for no Lsd, but still this track doesnt match up with MIR... Now that the car is dialed in pretty well ill be going back to MIR next sunday. For some reason MIR seems to be a much "faster" track... With these type of 60' i really thought the car would go atleast 13.0-13.1 but well see what happens...
At what rpm is your peak HP? You should ideally shift a few hunderd rpm after that. In you last run your MPH was down beacause you rev'd it out to where is was making less power than your 1st run. I know one less shift the car will be quicker. Other than that glad to see the good 60' times.

I tried what you did. It worked at first but as I became a better drive I was able to run better ET's and MPH in going into 4th than trying to stay in 3rd.

Peak power is reached at 7700rpms and stays pretty flat until 9100-9200 rpms and then very slowly trails off (maybe 5-10whp or so) after 9200 until 9500 (dont really like taking it past 9k tho). I no-lift shift aswell and drive consistantly, i think 104mph was achieved do to the tire pressure being at 11 psi vs 8psi when i went 103.. The thing that doesnt make sense to me now after looking at my old time slips is how I didnt run lower ETs last week, Esp considering the 1 tenth off your 60' rule equales 2 tenths off your total elpased time... This is my time slip breakdown from march 5th T&t at Maryland International Raceway, Very good track..

(car had 190whp dynojet and weighed 2490 w/driver this run, ran OPEN HEADER) MIR Race track

R/T .706
60'... 1.866
330... 5.541
1/8... 8.558 @ 81.34 mph
1000... 11.154
1/4... 13.368 @ 101.20 mph

Vs. last week. (205whp same dynojet, weight now at 2350 w/driver, had to run FULL EXHAUST 3in) Capitol Raceway

R/T .379
60'... 1.801
330... 5.518
1/8... 8.566 @ 80.73 mph
1000... 11.175
1/4... 13.378 @ 102.96

I thought for sure with this type of 60' and mph the car would get me atleast 12.80s to 13.10s Esp in a car with now 205whp and 2350 Lbs W/DRIVER, correct me if im wrong? Anybody that knows how to read times? I guess i just dont get how i ran a better 60' and higher mph yet went slower. Weather was within 10 degrees these two different outings, car is more powerful and much lighter aswell now too. I honestly just think MIR has a superior short track and better air lol..?! If anybody has any insight please share b/c im kinda baffled right now... Anyways im going to be heading back to MIR b/c i feel theres tons left in this setup. ANY SUGGESTIONS!!

1990 DA integra gutted. stock GSR and an LS trans with an ebay header and a 2.5 in exhaust went 9.26 @ 78 in the 1/8 and 14.08 @99 in the 1/4. with a 55 shot it went 8.7 @ 84 in the 1/8. never got a 1/4 time. best 60' was a 2.25. made 164.9 whp on a very generous dynocom shitty dyno. it was prob making 152-156 ish real world
