Yes please do, I am doing the same. At the moment its pretty much a toyota pickup throttle connected to a y pipe. I'm trying to fab a handle for it that won't look to conspicuous in my cabin

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
I was wondering how you got a GSR so light. My 1999 GSR with my 200lbs *** in it is 2900lbs. I have NO weight reduction done to it. I still have hope for 13's though after reading your set-up. I haven't been to the track yet and my bottom end isn't GSR any more. I'm running ITR pistons.
Way back in the day when I still had an OEM GSR Block on OEM Springs and Shocks with Dunlop All Season tires I was able to do 2.1-2.2 60's high 14's. It was at about 160whp, then again it was a long time ago, can't remember all the details. Nearly 10 years ago now.

I was asked to clean up this thread.
The OP asked for dyno numbers and/or track times. Street racing kills do not count. And please do not post videos of a street race, as it is illegal and violates the rules of the forum.

BMO heres the graph lmk what you think.
This was tuned with a 2.75 intake and vstack
This is just a pull with it and a aem out the hood sorry its blurry
only mods changing is going to be a 2.5" pipe with resonator and the 2.5 muffler, because i pretty much figure the ws2 was killing the topend but i could be wrong. Added a 3inch intake, maybe put another section making it a cai. i know the trap seems way low so i cant explain it

ohh i take no offense man i know my track experience blows, so does my launching. i was on 34 or so psi upfront, ive dumped it around 2500 and it just toasted the tires, learned not to do that, so maybe 2-3k launches trying to slip which probably isnt even nearly good enough. Trying not to destroy my clutch in the process since i have very little experience.
I know i should drop it to about 20psi or so upfront, other than that im lost

I use to be *** at launching as well. Its hard to explain but if you start at lower rpms and gradually go up as you keep doin runs you find its easier to figure out where your car likes to be launched.
Id avoid roasting street tires. Especially cheap ones.
My car was launched at 3k during the 13.9 pass

You have 2 marks you're suppose to light up, the first one at the top is prestage, and the second one is full on stage.
After you do a proper burn out, if you need to know how to do that, ask.
You'll need to slowly pull up until you light up the first set of lights. When you light up the first set of lights, pull your ebrake as hard as you can.. and start letting the clutch out, you'll start to feel your rpms go down and the car pull foward. Keep pressure on the ebrake and pull your car forward while your holding the ebrake until you hit the second light which is full stage.
you'll need to hold the ebrake, and let the clutch out to where you feel the car start to catch, but it wont move you forward enough to redlight, you'll need to then, hold your revs or hit your 2 step or 3 step and then, when the light turns green, just drop the ebrake and clutch..
preloading basically puts load on the axles in which it'll be less likely to break.. this is how people making 400+whp on stock axles are able to go to the track because they properly preload them.. its hard to explain in words and more of a feel.. you need to take your car out on the street and try to do what i just explainned..

Really wonder if cutting it to a 2.0 60ft would net me the 14.2 time

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Sadly the answer is no. This car was a monster for what it was up here in MN/WI at that time. One day a 85 Vette was cockin off did a burnout and couldn't control it. He then ended up rear ending the car thus totaling it.
Now the motor is just sitting in the garage collecting dust from 2001 til today. It has plenty of potential still. Maybe it might get resurrected into my brothers DB1.

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Kinda off topic but im going to tap my hytech rep for my wideband, seeing as i cant put it back by the collector for space reasons. Ive done it before with the old hytech but it was jammed and ****ed with clearance.
Was told to have wideband read off cyl 3 atleast becaue it runs the hottest so i was going to tap the CYL 1/3 collector and run the wideband there. Would that be wise?
