All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Curious to see some different results from people who are running COMPLETELY FACTORY SPEC GSR blocks. Please list your build and results.
In my current project I am trying to see what I can get out of a stock GSR withs no mods to the block. I'm hoping this thread will give me a round about number to aim for and maybe some ideas along the way
NOTE: PLEASE SPECIFY IF YOU HAVE A JDM ENGINE
I suppose I could start with mine..went to the NE Dragway about a month ago to see how I do with just boltons so far..
JDM B18c
GSR Trans w LSD
AEBS Intake Manifold
RMF Narrow Rep Header
ITR cat/mid pipe
GSR Muffler
Comptech GSR intake w/ Spectre Velosity Stack
Chipped p06 w/ Basemap from a similar setup provided by ALLM0T0R
Swapped into a 92 CX hatchback, weighed 2160 w/ me (I weigh 165)
Ran on 14" steelies with some crappy radials
60FT: 2.227s
1/8th: 9.02@79mph
1/4: 13:9@98mph

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Back in 2001
JDM GSR w/ CTR cams, Skunk intake mani, DC 4-1 and 22x8x15 slicks- 13.1@102 daily driven 92Cx....i dont know the weight but it had full interior
Back in....2002
JDM GSR w/ Skunk stage 1's, Skunk intake mani, Vibrant **** header, 225/xx/14 BFG's - still on obd-0 status 12.9@102 - just gutted back half
Back in 2003-2004
USDM GSR in a 95 GSR Sedan(Car thats in my avatar) full p/s and a/c. Skunk2 intake manifold, Jun Header, 2.5 inch exhaust, 205-50-15 nt555R's - 14.6@97
Then from there i grew up and started bumping compression and eventually increasing displacement.

1995 GSR, stock motor and trans with 92k
Exedy light flywheel
DC 4-2-1 header with stock cat and exhaust
Stock intake, ecu, everything
Full interior except airbags and ABS system have been deleted
Weighs in at 2500 on my scales
Dyno was 148-149 consistently on our dynapack, I forget the torque numbers.
Removed air filter lid and went to 152-153 hp.
I put a stock FG2 si muffler on and didn't observe any solid gains vs the oem gsr muffler manufactured in 1994.
Went to the dragstrip and ran a 14.8@92.5 on my one and only pass with bridgestone re-11 rubber.

94 GSR, 145k miles
Hytech rep header

blox IM
type r throttle body
stock suspension, no backseats and such
Tuned 180whp
60ft: 2.42
1/8th:9.82@74.26
1/4:15.05@93.91
Definetely not impressive, swapping to 2.5 with hytech muffler and coilovers

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
2000 integra gsr
Engine Management:
CROME pro street tuned
PLX wideband
Block:
100% OEM GSR block untouched with 146,000 miles
Head:
B16a head, Milled, Lightly ported intake side
JG dual valve springs and titanium retainers, flat face valves
Crower 63402 Cams, gears set to: +3 , -2
BLOX High Flow Header
2.5" straight pipe custom exhaust
Type R Intake Manifold Lightly ported and Portmatched
65mm throttle body
AEM CAI with a velocity stack out of the front bumper
2layer head gasket
310cc injectors
compression ratio around 10.5:1
Transmission:
Stock GSR transmission, No lsd stock 4.4 FD
Exedy Stage1 Clutch
Chassis is a 2000 2dr integra Gsr that weighed in at 2470 pounds with me in it (im 190).
This setup made 191whp and 133Wtq at InlinePros DynoJet
On only the second pass ever the car went 13.36 at 101.3 mph with a 1.86 60' on 22x8x15 MTs
I have custom grinded cams on the way from ALL M0T0R aswell and when those are in with some more tuning i hope to be around 200-205whp with 3inch intake and open header. Looking for 12.60s-12.80s once this is done with some more weight out!
There is a HUGE amount of potential realised from a STOCK OEM gsr block as long as its healthy. You dont need high comp pistons and aftermarket rods to get a potent setup, you just need a well thought out head package that compliments your stock block! Goodluck with your build and goals and remember to just have fun with it!

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Thanks man! you would be surprised at how much faster you will go if you get that 2.4 60' down to around 2.0, just that will make a huge difference! and yes ive heard good things about ccc. maybe try dumping that ws2 exhaust next time you visit the track aswell, it might really open that motor..

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
You should actually look into a ported performer X intake manifold aswell, i heard they do slightly better on 1.8s than the skunk manifolds.. this is something i might try down the road too.

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
ya man a local tuner says the same thing they seem to fair pretty good on the 1.8s. Definetely looking into it down the road. anywhere over 190-195 with headwork and id be ok

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
I can tell you that the 2 tenths for every tenth off the 60' was true for my car. whenever i shaved a tenth off the 60' i noticed a 2 tenths drop in ET consistantly. My integra weighed in at 2400 pounds flat with me in it as of today. The under dash is gutted, no passenger seat, no ac, no PS, no interior or panels in the rear, pass. air bag, no rear bumper beam and so on, so its pretty bare but i still have not cut any metal and still have ABS and power windows, power sunroof works. No carbon parts or lexan windows. so it was "easy weight" to get off.

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
I plan on running no passenger seat at the track or get a set of F1spec bucket seats. i have no ac no ps no rear at all but i will be putting the panels back in. no pass airbag. i do have both my bumper beams however, expect front is cut a little for intercooler when i was going turbo. i dont have abs but im keeping power everything wont go crazy.

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
^^ Very nice man! i did go a little over the top on weight savings for a street car but its not my daily so i dont mind lol. But goodluck on your 13 sec. pass! one of the best bang for the buck mods btw that would help you get there would be a set of Mickey Thompson 22x8x15 drag slicks and launch at 7500rpm or higher.

I definetely know now suspension is a key thing, i swapped to coils this weekend and man the rear dont move at at like the old suspension so i definetely think the 60fts will be better.
And to N/A what kind of power you trying to get without any bottom end work?

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
Yea suspension helps alot, especially getting the rear stiffer and a good alignment and all that. All said i would be happy with anything over 200whp, but 210whp is what i would like to achieve, maybe with a dif intake manifold TB combo i can get there since i already have new cams on order.. More importantly tho i would like my track numbers to be consistantly in the 12.70s!

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
For G.P.
Lol
As much as I can. That's pretty much why I made the thread to give a myself an idea so I don't set myself up for dissapointment
I need some suspension badly, I'm currently on all stock suspension except some 1.75 drop neuspeeds springs in the front .
I'm hoping to have some ctr cams by the 22nd for IFO but I'm not sure if its gonna happen finacially.
Trying to ball on a budget BLOWS
Also edited my original post, forgot to put that I did that 13.9 on some crappy 14" radials

Re: All Motor Factory Block GSR Dyno/Track Results
N/A i know exactly how it is man i tried to boost on a smaller budget probably lol and it fell through.
You trying for a ported head and such or whats ur goals?
Dude that suspension is going to help a ton, i swapped to coils lowered it to 1finger gap and the rear dont move at all, should help alot with the weight transfer.

Way back in the day when I still had an OEM GSR Block on OEM Springs and Shocks with Dunlop All Season tires I was able to do 2.1-2.2 60's high 14's. It was at about 160whp, then again it was a long time ago, can't remember all the details. Nearly 10 years ago now.

Do you do the work in a shop or what? and dyno comparisons are always good to see
