So im looking for parts to piece together my build and i found a cheap never ran b16 block sleeved to 85.5mm with a erl deckplate. I really wanted a c5 and go 84mm for a 2.0L but that b16 is at such a good price will the headeroff a c1, my type R head and everything just switch over??? Is the oil pan different?? trans should just bolt up just worried about the oil pan header ect

Also will a type R crank and c1 mains work in the b16 block??

i don't think the crank will work, as far as mains i think it depends on if it's a b16a or b block because b16b comes with block girdle as where b16a doesn't. Yes the head will swap right over. header will swap over, oil pan will work although u may need extra oil because i think it's taller to compensate for the block girdle.

its a b16a block so i would need mains from a b16 and as for the crank are the journals a different size??
