this motor made 268whp on a dynojet the other day and ran a 12.2 at 113mph, in the eg with some drag radials...it needs slicks

they have a dynacom dyno, not a dynojet.. Dynacom's are known to read WAY higher than a dynojet.. think Church's Dynapack high

Re: 252whp h22 thanks to RLZ and RMF
I'm working on getting some 9x24.5x13 slicks now. It was only able to make 4 passes before one slick had a blowout and I was working on dialing it in - dropped .2 secs on each pass of the last 3. Car will hit easy high 11's and is capable of mid 11's with seat time. I didn't even finish setting the right tire pressure and was playing with 10psi and also was shifting safe not quite at the 9900rpm rev limit since my tach only shows up to 8. JDogg you'd be wrong about his specific dyno at DG - every dyno is different and they have calibrated theirs to be accurate for tuning - not for dyno queen numbers. I have a friend who tuned his rsx on 2 dynojets and he put his rsx on DG's dyno the same night and it showed 206whp when the other 2 dynojets showed 205 & 208whp.
It is dead-on accurate, and most other dynos read higher than this guys. It made 252 at RLZ's which everyone knows reads approx. 20hp low. 252+20=272 so the 268.3 it made is low. The hp is what I predicted - I figured 260, but the torque is impressive and the curve is very much linear - it's a nice curve. It made 200.0 lb.ft tq - 200 right on the dot.
I promise that with another 2 hours of seat time with a good 1/2 dozen passes, it will be in the 11's next track day easily. It is good for now but will see a tune on race fuel next year perhaps. I may max it out with bigger cams - Jun 3's have been good for streetability but I see vtec killers in the future when it turns to an all out drag car.
Props to OP John - great guy and great build he passed over.

Car has now been to the track 3 times since I got my hands on it.
It ran a best of 11.8 on 9x22x13 slicks in December with a 1.69 for the 60' and a 7.4 for the 1/8th. That's with hx wheels on the back.
Next step is to get some stiffer springs in the rear(21k preferrably) since it's rolling on stock suspension eg; really squats in the rear much too much.

If ANYONE HAS STIFF EG SPRINGS FOR SALE FOR THE REAR - PM OR EMAIL ME; i'LL buy them for the right price! revn9k@hotmail.com

Hondata is gay garbage and their tech department contains only mentally handicapped people, so I may be going with EcTune this fall when I max out the cams with pro 3's and tune on race fuel to get 300+whp NA. It's currently still daily driven on pump gas at 268whp as it has been for the past year.
Got some footage from last month at Rockinghman: Enjoy:

if i remember correctly this thing has big valves in it.. make sure you pull the head to check valve to valve clearance with those pro3's
someone in the sponsor section is selling 1050 aem ems's for ~750. you should scoop one of those up

^^ Thanks bud - I appreciate it.
Thanks!
Yep, ferrea valves and valve guides. Absolutely, I'll be checking v2v clearance for sure.
750 is a steal for aem's ems, and it's top notch. If someone can send me the link, that would be great, but I'm going to look around and see if I can find it here.
Thanks, Adam

Thanks for the link Jdogg!
For now, yes sir - JUN 3's. That is the only change I will be making - JUN 3's are coming out to be replaced by pro 3's and a tune on race fuel instead of 93octane it's on now.
