0 Valve Lash Question

0 Valve Lash Question
Hey all. Hope I can get some help on here.
I'm about to perform a valve to valve clearance check and while reading some of the threads and watching some videos online on how to do it I see that VTEC needs to be locked and valve lash should be set at 0.
Now I'm assuming that setting the valve lash to 0 means loosening the locking nut on the rocker arm and turning the adjusting screw to where the the smallest feeler gauge won't go through. Can someone confirm this or is there another way to have 0 lash without the possibility of being too tight? And since VTEC is locked it wouldn't matter if I'm measuring it on the lower profile rocker arms or the VTEC rocker arm, should it? Seeing that the cam lobes will be facing up.

Re: 0 Valve Lash Question
You have to be on the VTEC lobe so that you get the proper lift and duration while you check valve-to-valve clearance. If you have a dial indicator on the valve, you can simply remove the feeler gauge all together and slowly adjust the valve lash tighter until the dial indicator begins to move. This will be ZERO lash.

Thanks! Also, I noticed that since VTEC is locked the LMA is constantly pushing the all three rocker arms up against the cam lobes. Is this where I have to measure the clearances between the rocker arm and retainer.
