TSX oil drain bolt
Hey !
I recently bought a 2007 TSX and I wanted to change the oil today. I looked at the bolt and I never saw a « bolt » like this. Is it stripped? Is it an aftermarket plug? It seems there is rubber underneath the metal bolt. What should I do with this? thanks!https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...9378fa262.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...987b7e970.jpeg |
Re: TSX oil drain bolt
I bet you are going to need an oil pan. Don't touch it unless you can have the car out of service while you wait on parts to come in. That looks like a rubber plug they use when someone destroys the drain plug threads.
That looks like this piece of crap. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....3L._SX425_.jpg https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....L._SL1500_.jpg |
