Hey guys i got a 05 tsx and my ecu got fryed so i went to the junkyard and got a used one, now the fuel pump isnt activating and theirs no spark from the coils, i took it to honda but they said theirs no communication from the port to the car itself so they couldnt program the ecu to the car if that could be the problem i do not know, the car trys to start but nothing, also the key is stuck, i can only take it off when the battery is disconnected. I would appreciate some help as i know their are very smart guys on here. Thanx its a 05 tsx auto tranny.

no because theirs no communication, when they try putting the device to program it doesnt let it, im thinking a fuse or something

That's weird, it needs to be programmed, that's why it wont start

Honda didnt know how to for some reason do you suggest acura? And yeah i paid them to program and they called saying their computer couldn't communicate with the car.

That is odd. I would either research online or call Acura to see if there is a difference with programming.

Is the part number on the old computer box and the used one match up?
The fuel pump should turn on even though the used computer is not programmed as yet. just disconnect the fuel hose on top of the engine and see if it shoots fuel when you turn on the ignition.( without cranking the starter) By the way, it it a flood car?

if they cant program it then the ecu is probably bad or you have a connection to the ecu that is bad. is green key immobilizer flashing, if so then car will not start.

sounds like the immobilizer has not been reprogrammed.
