06 TSX Wipers: Pics, Info, Confusion
So the wipers on my 06 TSX badly needed replacing.
I searched for the right OEM replacement. found this thread/post on another site.

my "original" wipers dont look like the above "original" pictured in the TSB. they had little end caps on each end. so im really not sure what the timeline of what i have, whats been replaced, fixed, upgraded or not.
i tried buying 76622-SEA-J11 and 76632-SEC-A11 thinking since my TSX was an 06, it should have been upgraded and these would be factory inserts for the wipers i have now....
i was wrong. these are clearly different and was not going to work with the wipers i had.
So I ended up just buying the recommended complete arm/insert set mentioned in the TSB, 76660-SEC-305
The arms are definitely different than the "original" ones i replaced, but the 76622-SEA-J11 dont seem to match... i guess that makes sense since the replacement insert for the NEW arms is 76622-STK-A01. both are made by Mitsuba. my original ones were not marked.
its too bad, now i have two inserts i'll never be able to use.
if youre confused on what to replace... just get the 76660-SEC-305 set. its just $40 shipped online.

Ok got the new set in. The part number is 76660-SEC-305 for the wiper kit mentioned in the TSB numbered x-3-07 entitled windshield wipers chatter.
The Wiper blade part numbers that i recieved in the kit are:
76620-SEC-305 Left Wiper Blade
76630-SEC-306 Right Wiper Blade
If you already have these blades and need just the inserts, the part numbers are:
76622-STK-A01 Left Wiper Insert
76632-SEC-305 Right Wiper Insert
The TSB states that only some 2006-2008 TSX's will exhibit the symptoms of the Chatter. If the vehicle has original wiper blades and does not have an issue with chatter or does not exhibit the symptoms use the normal parts which are:
76620-SEA-G11 Left Wiper Blade
76630-SEC-A11 Right Wiper Blade
Inserts are:
76622-SEA-J11 Left Wiper Insert
76632-SEC-A11 Right Wiper Insert
I have just recieved my first kit including the updated Blades. I will report my experiences with them shortly on my 06 TSX as we are getting alot of rain this week which will allow for great testing.

Can someone help me figure out why honda/acura part dealers are showing two separate prices and part numbers for the blade sets or separate blade parts?

The "honda" part is cheaper than the matching acura part, but aren't they the exact same part since its the same honda part number? I get two different prices if I also input the individual blade assemblies for most online retailers as well (76620-SEC-305 Left Wiper Blade 76630-SEC-306 Right Wiper Blade). It's cheaper to buy these blade individually for some reason, instead of the set. If I buy the "honda" listed part, will it be exactly the same as the "acura" listed part number? This just seems like a stupid system to have two separate parts listed for the same number.

Glad I came across this thread. My wipers miss spots of my windshield so hopefully this updated set takes care of it.
