I bought a 2004 TSX a few days ago with 80k miles on it.

The AC does not blow cold air (I knew this before I bought it). I took it to a shop and they did a pressure test and tested to see how much freon is in the system. Both tests were good. The mechanic tested the wire(s) going to the compressor and he said there isnt any power/voltage coming through the wire to the compressor. He checked the relays and the fuses but he said they all seem to be okay. He said to fully diagnose the problem it would cost $200 + . I thought I would give it a shot first.

I have read around on different forums and it seems like it could be a relay or out of freon. But the freon is full and mechanic said the relays "seem" to be okay.

Any ideas on what to check, where, and how?

pretty sure its something minor, not worth $200. but if that dont work, it doesn't hurt to fix your baby. a/c needed in this hot heat.

Thanks, I will check today myself....relays, grounds, fuses, etc and reply to let you know if I found anything.

If anyone else has suggestions, they're welcome...need to fix AC soon with this heat about to come for summer...

took it to shop, paid $200 for diagnosis....will find out tomorrow.
