Hey guys

I've recently purchase a 2007 Honda Accord or as you guys know it as an Acura TSX. So last night I noticed the car had abit of a heavy start and a weird whine coming from the engine bay.

This morning my wife gets ready to leave and as usual she would idle the car abit but she won't start. I got my buddy to come over to give me jump and immediately take the car to a local workshop.

They test the battery and all is well. They then checked the alternator and it was giving a reading of 10volts. The mechanic tells me it's the regulator. He then ordered and replaced the part. He turns the key and all's good.

He checks he reads and all is tip top. I leave his workshop, happy as ever so I give her some stick... VTEC.. And the battery light goes on. I check it again this time really listening to the car and Vtec is not engaging, when I take the car up to 6000rpm the batter light switches.

So I call the mechanic and his not sure what the problem is?

Have any of you guys experienced such an issues?

Damn so sorrry that ur going thru this right now and that no one has yet to answer. I'm new to the tsx world too but I found that thw people on tsxclub.com are more helpful. So u shoukd join and ask them. I dif hear abojt some kind of problem that many ppk have with the battery but know the full details. There's a sectio on tsxclub that focuses on problem and fixing it. GL with ur prob.
