"Driver not recongized"
This is on an 06
I bought the car about a month ago, did an oil change yesterday. I tried resetting the "oil life" light by going to the oil life on the cluster and holding down the reset button on the steering wheel and it saids "driver not recognized"
Is this what everyone else does? Or do I need to do the method used when you do a 'service' on your car?

I do it the normal service way. Your the key in. Hold down the trip reset button. Turn to the second position while continuing to hold. The light flashes and goes away.

Re: "Driver not recongized"
Having the same problem not recognizing the key. Just purchased new TSX, was a service loaner from dealership, trying to use the Customized Settings. My second key/remote #2 will display "Driver 2", yet my first key/remote does not.
I tried using key #2 to reset all to default settings, but when following owners manual, key #1 still not recognized. When in the MID Menu, display says "Driver not recognized, Custom Settings Impossible." What's next? Anyone else not having their "Driver" key seen by the display?
Note: No nav in my model

Re: "Driver not recongized" - use key fob
Question answered: read elsewhere within posts that instructions printed on back of key fob. Strange it's not in the manual. You need a magnifying glass to read it in direct sunlight, but it's simply pressing the Unlock & Lock buttons at same time within cabin. It took a couple of tries, but worked.
