Almost out of Warranty, what is the dealer responsible for?
Im about to roll over 49k miles, which means Ive got 1k miles to use my bumper to bumper warranty. What all is the dealer accountable for? Will they replace mats or seats due to wear? What about rattles? Paint blemishes? I just want to make sure that I use the warranty to my full advantage before it's gone.

Re: Almost out of Warranty, what is the dealer responsible for?
The dealer is only responsible for fixing defects. They won't replace worn out items because you want a brand new one. They won't repaint your car because rocks chipped it. They'll only repaint your car if your paint is bubbling from an obvious painting error.
They will fix the rattles because the car isn't meant to rattle. Check and make sure all of your electronics work (heated seats, a/c, heater, etc). Make sure speakers aren't blown. At night, check to make sure all of the switches and lights that are supposed to light up actually do light up (common one to go out is the bulb that lights up the heated seat switches).
Sit in each seat and look around. Do you see any issues? Feel any issues?
Drive around with the radio off. Do you hear anything out of the ordinary? Does anything feel wrong?
Remember, a warranty is only a promise to fix defects, it's not a guarantee to bring your car back to like-new status.
