Don't post if you have nothing to add or want to say it's a waste of time.

Finding a 6 speed TSX MT is like finding a needle in a haystack and very cost prohibitive.

Can anyone tell me what it will take to put an Accord 5 speed manual into a TSX?

Want it strictly for fuel economy as there are techniques I can use in a MT car that won't work in an auto.

I know Accord guys swap the TSX trans into their cars so it must be backwards compatible to a certain extent in a 1G tsx.

Anybody have anything helpful to add? Any tips or knowledge they can share?

I don't mind doing some mount fabrication. That's easy.

Specifically looking for info regarding ECU/speedometer/VSS/axles/shifter box.

the accord and tsx share the same chassis i believe so the transmission should bolt up with no problem. the tsx parts are interchangeable with the accord just like the eg and dc chassis . and if you can't find all the parts needed to do this u can just buy my tsx

I have no need for 2 TSX's. (LOL).

I know the transmission will physically bolt to the engine considering both engines are K engines. I do believe the mounts are different, but mount fabrication is the least of my concerns. Easy stuff there. This here is the least of my concern.

What axles would I use?

I'm more concerned with the electrical portion of the swap (VSS, Computer, harness etc).

And also the MT pedal/hydraulics/shifter assembly.

Can these be sourced from an 03-07 USDM Accord or do they need to come from a TSX/Euro Accord specifically?

I was hoping someone could shed some light on these aspects. There's not much info out there.
