2006 Tsx Cold air intake
Hey everyone , not much of a poster but I'd like some opinions on intakes.
Love the tsx , bought it used back in late 2014 as a family car.
Lots of room compared to the previous whip (97 si coupe) and I still get to have a bit of fun when I'm out driving by myself.
I've grown a bit bored of it and I want a bit more response out of it so I looked at intakes 500 for the go to brand...
haha that's alot of diapers , not gonna happen , not a chance.
I don't mind paying for quality but cmon it's a piece of pipe.
So ... don't hate ... I bought one from ebay 40 bucks , 30 something for shipping came with a filter and a coupler to fit it to the car , would not use either getting a good reinforced coupler and a good filter.
So whats everyone's opinion the finish is pretty horrible and I think I'll have it plated and painted a color that won't stand out as much.
Anyone else tryed one of these and what's my best options for filters.

$500? Aren't similarly designed AEM's or Injen's around $250-300?
Hopefully you bought a better air filter than the junk that your no-name intake came with.

The cheapest I could find was dc and even that was 200 plus shipping , and yes I'm getting a good filter the filter and the coupler that came with it were a joke lol.
