Should I get a TL?

Hey guys so heres the main question :

Should I get a TL??

I just sold my 1992 accord, and my mom is going to help me finance a car, my limit is from 8,000 to 15,000. She wont let me build a car, or anything alonside the lines of that. I am attending college soon so thats probably why.

I've seen alot of TL's they are classy and have some balls. Im not trying to own a race car, just something classy. And i am an honda enthusiast so thats why im interested in a newer/nicer acura/honda.

And if not a TL what do you guys suggest?

I am looking for something reliable, easy to work on, and a fun car to own for atleast 3-5 years.

Thanks !

What year? Everyone is gonna have their own opinion, as for me I think TL's are great cars, rode in a few and pretty smooth. Since you are a honda enthusiast would you consider getting a tsx? I think they are better looking than tl's, but that's just me. And the k24 is a good powered 4 cyl 06-08 tsx is my fav

Re: Should I get a TL?

Going from an 05 TSX 6MT to an 08 TL-S 5AT, I have spent more money on maintenance on the TL in a month then I did the TSX in a year and a half and the TL has 22k less miles.

Stuff I did to the TSX (got 350 a tank combined)

Valve Adj (very easy to do on a 4cy)
Plugs
Trans Fluid
Brake Flush

TL (300mi a tank combined)

Valve Adj,. (PITA, needed to remove intake manny)
Plugs
3 Trans Pressure Switches
Broken motor mounts and Trans mounts
HFL module dead

and there are still a few quirks ill fix up, I liked my TSX but unless you get a manual the car will have no balls... even with a manual it has no balls but certainly better.
