2002 acura tl type s
Hi i have an 2002 Acura TL Type S and i wanted to increase the horse power and speed so i thought their might be a turbo for it so i googled it but there wasn't a turbo i could find then i saw a blog about it and they said i would have to have one costume made. so i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a turbo for my TL or where i could have one costume made.

u can get a comptech supercharger that bolts right up to our cars, or u can go to any performance shop and get a turbo kit made, ur going to spend a lot of money on it tho.

don't you mean 2003 TL type S? there is no such car as a 2002 TL type S
start with bolt ons as they will give you the most bang for the buck

oh an I wonder what the personal property tax is on that car....it can't be cheap........
I love how they say the "plates are cheap" but then they forget to tell you that you need
1. personal property tax certificate for previous 2 years (unless you just moved there) $90 each year (for a 1994 honda accord)
2. emissions test. $28
3. state inspection $10
thankfully I moved BACK to MN where the plates are $101.50 with no extra BS

bringing back the dead, i have a 2003 acura tl base model will the compech supercharger kit still work? if not what is needed from the type s to make it fit? thanks

I don't know much about this topic because not too many people have forked out the dough for a kit, but this website above says that the 02-03 all use the same kit and the 04+ has a difference between standard and Type-S models.
