Power steering and air continuing pump removal

Power steering and air continuing pump removal
I have an Acura J32A that I'm putting into a mid-engined hotrod. I have no need for either power steering or air conditioning and therefore plan to remove the equipment.
Questions:
1. Is there anything I should be aware of other than mechanically removing the equipment?
2. What about the serpentine belt? Can I just measure for a new length? Will the idler pulley still work properly?
3. Are there any links to the ECU that I need to deal with?
Thanks
