what are the common places I should check for oil leaks
I have a lot of oil on the bottom of transmission housing dripping
but cant see where its coming from

what are the common places I should check starting from the top of the engine


what I mean is... b series motors for example are notorious for hidden leaks from cam seals and distributor seal and vtec solenoid. all 3 of them are hard to pinpoint and only show up on the bottom of the block and oil pan. making it seem like oil pan is leaking

I checked the valve cover gasket and didn't see any obvious leaks

just looking what specific spots I should check first that are common leak places on j35 (2005 RL 180000 miles)
