Hybrid/Electric Tax Breaks
I would like to know what kind of Tax breaks or other incentives are out there around the world to promote the purchase of hybrid or electric or alternative fuel(E-85, natural gas) vehicles . In Maryland for hybrids, the first $500(i think) of sales tax is waived and in Virginia, for hybrids also, you can get special plates to allow you to drive in HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle-Carpool) lanes.
