Default CRV Motors. 2 Kinds?

I was looking into buying a CRV motor from a friend of mine when someone told me that there are 2 different ones. I was going to swap it into an Integra. Anybody know what kind of results I would get out of each one. Only reason I posted here is because I figured you guys would know more abotu the CRV motors then the Integra guys.

you would be better off getting a better integra motor than a CRV motor, they will not be tuned nearly as well.

theres the B20B and B20Z. The Z's higher compression than the B. The B20B came in 97-98 CRV's, and the B20Z is in 99-01 CRV's. I think those years are right, but i definately know thats the sequence it goes in.

not to jack your thread or anything but,

is this correct?

97-98 the b20b 126hp
99-01 the b20z 146hp

i am looking to buy this 1999 crv engine with 15k on it and he keeps telling me it's a b20b?

i'm confused...

maybe he just has his facts wrong...?

yepp those orders correct, and his CRV has a B20Z which is 20 HP higher than the B20B because of higher compression.
