hey guys im pulling the motor outa my girls 01 TL cuz the eninge blew. but if anyone has done this before ... where did you dissconnect the wirring harness? do you have to pull the dash to get to the plugs? or do you have to pull the intake mani off to get the injector plugs to pull the harness off the eninge? PLEASE HELP thanks

you disconnect everything at the engine and lable it. I believe that all you need to do is remove plastic engine cover to get to the wire harness for injectors

no the harnes for the injectors are under the intake mani. i have the whole harness unpluged from the engine but then got to the injectors and it is under the mani... soooo seeing if ne one has ever done this before...

well your only choice is to remove intake manifold

R&R on a Legend Type II was one of the worst jobs I've ever done. I hope the TL is nothing like it.

the way i do them is remove the harness their is a main harness and unplug from the pcm. is their ia easier way to to this ? not from what i have seen and done.

yeah, the connectors are at the PCM.. either way, you're gonna have to pull the intake manifold if you plan on transferring over the wiring harness to the new motor.
