'98 Acura 2.5 TL starts initially but won't start after driving

I'm at my wits end. I've diagnosed and diagnosed and there's always that one person who thinks they know what they are talking about when it comes to a no start, but they are usually way off base. One time after I told the person that I just replaced my starter and that it will crank over but not start, he told me he thinks it was my starter. My '98 Acura starts when it has been sitting overnight or for a few hours with no problem, the check engine light is on. I recently replaced an O2 sensor, replaced the radiator, and the starter. The check engine light went off after I installed the O2 sensor but after a few weeks the check engine light came back on again. I'll drive the car and it seems to run fine until I hit highways speeds then it's a bit rough. Of course the longer I run it the longer it takes for it to cool down and finally start. What usually happens is I'll start the car initially and it starts fine, I'll drive it for a while and if I shut it off, the car won't start unless it sits a little while. Sometimes after sitting a while, the car sputters and seems about to stall while I'm trying to crank the car over, I then hit the gas pedal and it starts. It always seems to relate to how long the car has been sitting as to how well it will start. The longer it sits the easier it starts, also the cooler it is the easier it starts, i.e. in the morning or late at night. I'm not trying to steer anyone into thinking it could be a specific problem so if you have experienced this please feel free to answer and let me know. I'm not one to not admit I'm wrong. I just need an answer and I'm sure someone out there has had this same problem happen with their Acura. I've done a lot of research and it seems to be one of three things, the main relay, the igniter, or coil. I've tested for spark both right after the car refuses to start and just before I start it initially and there seems to be spark. If it is the igniter or coil, for some reason with the 2.5tl they decided to put the distributor cap right up against the firewall of the car with just about a wrench-width enough to get at the bolts holding the cap on. So both the coil and the igniter will be POA to install. If it isn't any of the three I listed or it is and you have experienced this type of problem with your Honda or Acura, please let me know what solution you used to remedy the problem.I'm just about to go all grey with the stress that this car is causing me. :P
