2001 CL dies/stalls while driving... Never on highway.
Hello fine people. I have a 2001 CL with 153,000 miles on it. Every so often (about every couple days) my car will die out on me as I approach a stop or slow down. The car is always warm when it happens. All the lights on the dash come on, radio still works, the engine just dies. I wait a minute or two and it starts right back up like nothing happend.
I had the IAC valve replaced and the throttle body cleaned and it still happens. My shop keeps taking a look at it but it will never die when they have it, so they can't really get a feel for what I am experiencing. I've taken it back to them twice after they replaced the IAC and cleaned the throttle body and they still don't know what's going on.
One guy said it was the fuel pressure regulator. I doubt that.
Any ideas or suggestions? I really need some help! Thanks!
