The EP3 is a great daily driver. Cold a/c, power everything. Paid $16.6 OTD for a showroom model. I'm thinking about trading it in for a CRV though.

No way in hell it would have a 2.4 liter, I'd rather have the tsx motor cuz it makes more TQ.</TD></TR></TABLE>

You would rather have an engine that revs higher?

Soo... Here's a question for ya. Would you rather have 200 hp and 166 ft lbs or 200 hp and 143 ft lbs?

Answer seems obvious, but you think other wise.

Anyways what do these Ep3's normally run in the 1/4 mile?</TD></TR></TABLE>

let me rephrase what i said...

i like the k24 dont get me wrong, the tsx is very nice, ive been in one before, my cousin is about to buy one, but i think that the aftermarket on the k20's is going to be bigger then the k24 (correct me if im wrong), and eventually i'll want to mod my car and it would be easier with the k20 engine.

and so i can feel mad vtec

The K24 is not a drop in solution for the EP3 and DC5, and anybody wanting to use one has to be prepared for the time and expense involved. You can't use the K24's intake manifold or computer. A Hondata K Pro is almost mandatory. This expense is mitigated somewhat by how cheaply you can buy the USDM K24A2 motor if you search and wait.

With a K20A2, K20(*) or K20Z1, it really is a simply drop-in solution because you don't need to change the transmission and you can use the new K20's computer if you want.

There have also been some interesting observations recently about the piston speed in built K24 motors, and the relative longevity of highly stressed USDM K24A2 parts when compared to the DC5 ITR and tuner parts that are available for the K20 motors.

LOL, I got that. I'm just talking about his friend claiming Honda's going back to the double wishbone set-up, which according to every single car publication out there, it ain't happening.

It just takes time, The ep3 has only been out for 3 years and more and more people are starting to like it. When it first hit the streets hardly anybody really like it. Now that they are getting older and becoming more popular in used car lots more people are going to buy them. I bet most people on this site bought their cars used.
