What the heck is going on with my idle?
This is happening almost constantly now... I changed the IDLE air control valve, battery, booster, master cylinder, intake (AEM Cold air intake), basically everything and my idles storming up and down as I'm coasting. Can it be the alternator?
BTW the engine light is on and the code is P1157, it came on when I changed the exhaust to Skunk2 MegaPower RR, I changed both oxygen sensors with no luck..

if you have a fast idle throttle body, get rid of it. I've changed out tons of fast idle throttle bodies to regular and fixes the issue almost every time. I do diagnose and run through all the proper steps before doing so.

it's a vacuum leak, you just need to use some carb cleaner and spray around the intake until the idle changes, then you've found the leak
hopefully you haven't messed with your base idle, it could be allowing too much air in if you did

ON Cold start-up, my idle is stays too low and wants to die, it use to be at 2000rpm until it warmed
