May i supply some ep3 info? apart from the visual changes yall succesfylly noticed (lexus style tail-lights, bigger logos, headlights, interior changes, turn signals embedded to mirrors) there are also some mods like different fuel maps and lighter flywheel (approx 7 pounds ligher!!!) thus gaining 0,2 sec in 0-60...hope i helped</TD></TR></TABLE>
Damn! this is weird!
... i THOUGHT my flywheel seemed heavy!
(seriously, i was thinking about today on the way home from work...)
when i rev to the limit, it feels like it takes an extremely long time for my engine to come back down to a normal shifting range... like 3K rpm!
i didn't notice this in the smaller civics i had... hence i thought about getting a lighter flywheel today!
(What would that cost? -SORRY for hi-jacking your thread!)

I'm interested in the Mugen front lip designed for the '02-'03 ep3. Will this fit the usdm bumper, or was it designed for uk/jdm spec bumpers?

The only body difference between the 02-03 and 04-05 USDM EP3 is the headlights and the larger 5-lug wheels. The front and rear bumpers are the same.

So is it just me or does the suspension on the '04-'05 look lower than '02-'03?
After seeing pics on EPhatch of a '02 with '06-'08 Si rims, and buying them and installing them on my '05...the '02 looks like a 4X4 and mine actually looks pretty good.....
My gap is half of what the '02 had.....my suspension is definitely stock.
Maybe it's just the side skirts.......don't know.
Yes, I know I have a ton of **** on my roof but that's just about 120# max...

pretty sure suspension is stock, as it was completely stock when I bought it.
Here it is unloaded, gap looks a little bigger...but nothing like the other.....
and here is the pic of the '02 (I think) from EPhatch

Gap looks about the same, remember tires play a role too so maybe you and that guy have different tire sizes.
Also the EP in the second pic has a 5-lug conversion, if it's from a RSX-S then that might alter how the suspension sits.

Re: What changed on the EP3 from 02-03 vs 04-05?
I just picked up a 2004 ep3 and the cd player in the stereo is shot. Im looking at a working stereo from a 2002 ep3 on ebay, can anyone tell me if the stereo for 02-05 is the same? I'm pretty sure it is, just wanna make sure. Thanks.

Re: What changed on the EP3 from 02-03 vs 04-05?
Hey guys was wondering if the 02 and 03 ep3 Si's had the same exact motor. I have 257k miles on my 03 ep3 and am buying an 02 ep3 engine with trans edu and all the goodies. Just wanted to see if everything is bolt on and won't have any cels when I'm done if the newer engine is sound. I realize this in an old thread just hoping someone has the answer i need.

However, quieter, slightly more comfortable driving position, and safer as it meets newer regs. I also like obd2, nice to plug in a reader and figure out what code you have.
And if you have a cel, try two things I learned:
1. Replace your gas cap.
2. Replace the downstream 02 sensor.
Happy motoring, enjoy your Honda!
Oh and p.s. have no opinions on the change of 02-03 vs 04-05, sorry if this is a threadjack...!
