what is the weight on the type R flywheel?

'03 and before have the heavier fly wheel, the '04 has a lighter one.

The 03 that I had before I sold it was 11lbs, maybe 12.

Yeah for the European model CTR the weight changed.

The JDM K20A flywheel is about 4.75kg (10.45lbs).

If you mean the K20A Motor in the JDM Type-R DC5 then its about 10ish.
The K20A2 in the RSX Type-S is about 16 pounds.

I did, it was just under 12 pounds. From an 03 DC5-R.

Well I have a DC5R and what is listed is what I already stated 4.75kg (10.45lbs). The Toda replacement is 3.9kg(8.58lbs) for comparisons sake.

I got the ATS clutch flywheel kit, its really light they run an aluminium Pressure plate and a bigger clutch plate, it works really well I think its weighs under 20lb for the complete kit.

about 11lbs for the dc5-r fly. weight it next to my excedy.

anybody tried lighter flywheel? Wondering if you notice the difference since it will only be a few lbs differentce.
