Default Vibration With Throttle

I just picked up a 2003 SI and have a quick question. At around 50mph there's a decent vibration that I thought may just be a wheel out of balance but I noticed today it only does it if I am giving it gas, the harder the gas the more vibration but it eventually sort of fades off closer to 75mph. If I push the clutch in or take it out of gear it goes smooth. Any ideas? I'm going to jack it up tomorrow and have a look, if nothing sticks out I'll take it to a shop but I wasn't sure if there's something that immediately comes to mind for these cars with this symptom. It drives straight, no pulling but I did notice sharper left turns at more than a parking lot speed you can feel the vibration if you give it some gas.

Thanks,

Simon

Could be a cv axle going bad.

Well I jacked it up and the right front has a small amount of play if you grab each side of the tire and move it back and forth. I don't see anything visibly bad or any movement from jiggling it so I'll just take it to a local shop to see if they can diagnose it.

Only thing shop could find was the left axle even though they said it's not horrible. Also both tie rod ends show a little play but not anything dangerous. Taking it to have a new axle put in tomorrow and maybe will just go ahead and do tie rods. Just thought I'd update in case someone else ever searches something similar.

New axle fixed it! Smooth at all speeds.
