Re: Sticker removal
ivtech decal = not stupid, lol. why don't you just peel off the "i" portion and see if it's different tone. If not do the rest, if it is noticeable, take the "i" off the other side and wah-la, "vtech"

Re: Sticker removal
imo it just looks tacky and my luck it wouldnt stick back on. the i is part of the rest of the sticker on mine. i think they must have changed it in 04-05 to all one sticker

Really? F*ckin' really?? It's 2010, bro. Vtec technology has been around since 1992. For the love of god, at least know what the acronym stands for.
OP - take the stickers off your car ASAP. I waited a year or so before removing mine, but I wish I had done it on day one. It makes the car look soooo much cleaner.
Just use a blow dryer to gently heat the surface of the sticker, and slowly/carefully peel it off. Buff it with some wax when you're done to help blend the paint. I didn't have any paint fade, although you could *barely* see the transition of swirl marks to virgin paint. If you have a random orbital, you can polish the paint to smooth it out (if necessary). It blends perfect now

Re: Sticker removal
FYI the VTEC technology's been around prior to 1992, if I remember correctly, it was introduced around 1989 or 1990 on one of SiR versions or NSX or something.

Re: Sticker removal
Yeah, um I thought it was common knowledge that VTEC has been around prior to 92. It was just introduced to the U.S. in 92.
I think the I-VTEC sticker looks cool and it makes it easier to convince homeless people that your car is a hybrid too. :D

Re: Sticker removal
Yeah but I think those 91 NSXs are SUPER rare and might be considered a model year 1992 even though they were made in 91 (like most cars).
You are right though.
