Re: RSX Type R specs (Vazquez911)
That is exactly the specs of the JDM Type R. I wonder if the USDM Type R is really going to meet those numbers since the JDM models are almost always tuned to be more HP. I suppose the JDM ITR might go up in HP during the same year.

Re: RSX Type R specs (HX_Guy)
That is a very small increase in power for a "Type R" model. The G3 ITR offered 25 more hp...this one only offers 17? Should be 220 minimum IMO

Although there was "just" a 25 HP (at the flywheel, even less at the wheels) increase between the 3G Integra GS-R and Type R, that was just one part of the R total package. You need to factor in the reduction in weight, LSD, stiffer chassis, tuned suspension, shorter gears, etc. etc. Add that to the fact that Honda didn't build the Type R to be a drag strip car.
The RSX Type S and Type R will probably be closer in performance than the 3G GS-R and Type R, but think the RSX Type R will hand the Type S it's *** on the track.
